A Monk-bot visit and a Monk-bot appearance…

The Monkbot has arrived at my home for a visit! My teens were quite perplexed that their mom would get so excited about it. The most exciting thing was opening the box. The Monkbot was carefully packaged for his travel from Canada. The box was also fun to look at, with its many stickers from around the world. Too bad I haven’t taken any photos; the day before it arrived, my darling eldest child dropped my new-ish digital camera. Then I was hit with a bad head cold. So, the Monkbot and I have not yet toured the city, but I have plans for this weekend…just the two of us! Well, maybe I’ll invite my hubby, too.
Shelley, who keeps the Monkbot blog, made an appearance today. She has been on hiatus and is sorely missed by many. She checks in today with an account of her past few weeks in Gashes, Mold, Raw Sewage, and Apparent Brain/Mouth Disconnect…An Update on the Status of Shelley. Shelley is a talented writer, both of stories and songs, as well as a gifted singer. She’s had a bad day or two, lately, but manages to pick up my spirits in telling me her tale.
