Imagine blogging on a topic and then discussing it “face to face” with a fellow blogger. This is being done at Bloggingheads.tv.  At this point, Bloggingheads picks the blogger.  Wouldn’t it be a great concept to allow bloggers to join and request pairings?  I’ve spent enough of my afternoon break unsuccessfully trying to quickly research whether anyone has set up a website.  Anyone know something further?

For a great example of diavlogging, check out Megan McArdle of Asymmetrical Information and Atlantic Monthly and Yves Smith of Naked Capitalism as they discuss the bailout.  This is truly blogging at its best!  Not only do you have two legitimate resources, and women at that, discussing a timely topic, the diavlog is complete with cell phones unexpectedly ringing and an orange cat who wants to walk in front of the monitor (a daily battle at my house).  Riveting!  Seriously, it’s cool.
