Snow Day!

5;30am on a dark and snowy morning in our house
Mom gently wakes up 17 1/2 year old high school junior to let her know that her school has closed for the day due to overnight snow. Daughter utters “Yes!” with an intensity and passion usually uttered by someone who has been denied what is rightly hers for far too long. The last time someone used that phrase in that same way, someone had just won a large amount of money in the state lottery.
