Monkbot Talk

Monkbot Talk is the BEST new site of 2006, according to the editorial staff at Katie’s Beer (me). Born of the GrayCharles website, which is THE place to discuss what’s good in music, Monkbot reviews this modern life through the eyes of a Gen X’er. Both sites, while run by fans of Taylor Hicks’ music, evolved into discussions of what’s good in today’s world. Be sure to check both out!

Recent good post at GrayCharles on BlueGrass music:

Staggeringly Good Stuff - you might not love Bluegrass but I urge you to take a peak at a group of musicians totally at the top of their form.

I was raised on a combination of bluegrass, pentacostal church music and classic country like Johnny Cash and Merle Haggard. I have an unabashed love for this stuff.

Good post at Shelley’s Monkbot Talk on the children’s TV shows of the 70’s:

So today’s gonna be a light day…a trip down memory lane.

(Don’t we all need a little levity right now?)

Way back in the 70s was a little show called Zoom.
