Oral surgery, a negative biopsy and a new blog theme

It’s been a good day. After three oral surgeries in one year, I am finally rid of a cracked root.  Luckily, I’m a pro at oral surgery now. Novacain jabbed into the roof of my mouth? No problem! Stay home from work for a day? Sure!

On my day off of work I also received the news that an unknown internal growth in not malignant. I wasn’t looking forward to dealing with a positive result with a mouth full of cotton and high on Advil and antibiotics. Still more investigation to do, but at least I don’t have to think about having cancer. At least not now.

So on my day off of work, with a clean tooth and a negative biopsy, I decided to find a funky new WordPress theme. How does it look?

  1. You might want to write something about yourself. ;)

Can’t say I’ve seen anything like it.

    Glad to hear you’re cancer-free.

  2. Delighted to hear about the negative result.

The new template is, um, very Mondrian/ ;-)

  3. Good to hear about the test results! Concerning the blog theme, not my favorite, but I’ll get used to it:)

  4. TK!

Good for you. Good for you. And good for you.

Actually, it took me several hours to find the comments portal. But I’m not very observant, either.

I like the new look. I’ll be getting one myself soon, when baseball season is over.

  5. SM! It only took you a couple of hours? It took me a couple of DAYS to figure out where the comments went.

  6. Glad to hear the results were negative. When I have tests done, no matter what my reason tells me, my emotions put the chances at 50/50. May you have a long stretch of time with no illness, tests, twinges, or scares.
