Why?

Why would a dog want to run down into the basement, a brand-new basement with nice carpet and beautiful pine woodwork, madly run around, poop in a corner and then run back upstairs? Why?

Why, because he can, of course!
Our first Boston Terrier (the sainted Bwanna Jean) had the oh-so-odd habit of, upon her first entry into all of our new residences (4 during her 14 years), running around like a crazy dog through the whole place & then unleashing a huge “welcome” upon the new place!
Seriously, though, I think it has something to do with their way of coping with a new place that has none of their familar smells & such. Or maybe they’re just crazy dogs…
Original sin - doggy version??
Aren’t puppies wonderful?
Why does mine find coat hangers so amusing? That and Olivia’s toy baby stroller.
