Steely Dan and the Wilson brothers

I’m contemplating this letter and trying to figure out if Steely Dan is actually mad at the Wilsons, goofing around (check out their word use), seeking publicity or just wants a jam session with Luke and Owen Wilson. I’m confused, but I did find some interesting photos of Steely Dan, then and now and the Wilson brothers, then and now. I like how the Wilson brothers have played up their familial relationship and share a website…or maybe they are just economizing?
