Blog archive question
Posted on July 30th, 2005 by TKls2myhrt
Does anyone remember the web site from which you can view blog pages long gone? Someone once linked to it, but I can’t remember who. I thought that Daniel or Chris W. once linked to it, but a search of their archives didn’t produce the link. Maybe I imagined it….

It may have been the Internet Archive at www.archive.org. Though trying it just now, it doesn’t seem to pick up blogs particularly well.
Thanks for the tip. What I am trying to do is pull up Sceleratissimus Lutheranus pages. Wildboar took down his site. I do remember someone posting on how you could read blogs going back years. I remember reading old Fearsome Pirate posts long after Josh took down his site. I didn’t save that link, though. Maybe Wildboar will read this and reconsider posting some of his pieces for others to read in the future? http://sceleratissimus-lutheranus.blogspot.com/atom.xml
It seems that the Wayback Machine isn’t well suited for blogger’s subdirectory structure. I keyed Wildboar’s url into the Google search box and saw that he does have a fair bit in Google’s cache, up through 20 July.
It’s the Internet Archive, but sites have to be submitted to it to get the Archive to keep track of it.
