I will never watch American Idol again.

The integrity of American Idol is now in question and I will not participate as a fan any longer. I will support Constantine as a fan, but I’m done with American Idol.
Update: I just cancelled my Cingular wireless phone…seriously. And I told them why, too.
My wife is whining like a small child!
I’m sure that somewhere there is a “Fans of American Idol” support group and counseling center.
Whining….I’m not whining. I’ve got serious conspiracy theories brewing in my head. This is WHY I DON’T WATCH TV anymore. I’m too old for this crXX. It’s stupid..stupid..stupid. How could Scott (a perfectly nice person, but no American Idol) be left standing on that stage and the star of the show is walking off. Did you see the giant smile across Scott’s face? He’s thinking, “I’m the luckiest guy on earth right now.” This is insanity and now I’m now insane. I will now stop watching TV forever. I won’t be suckered in again! I have a headache and I feel like crying over a stupid TV show. I broke my rule…no more TV show. I made that rule after bawling through the 1988-89 season of thirtysomething and Moonlighting (I was very pregnant and my hubby was gone coaching basketball nearly every night). I called my mom one night bawling that Hope had had a miscarriage and I might, too. The at 9pm, Maddie on Moonlighting had a miscarriage and I just knew I was next. My mom let me have it and I realized it was time to grow up and turn off the TV. I made it this far, only to get suckered in by this season’s American Idol. All because I wanted to be more hip and understand my kids’ musicial tastes. If you’re still reading this, enjoy it: I’ll be removing tomorrow when I realize what I been going on about.
I am not the typical Constantine groupie…I have liked him genuinely from day 1, and not like others, who only started lusting after him once he began making eyes with the cameras(however he is hot lol) I dont know what to think of your comments about there being a conspiracy on the show now, but I DID see that stupid grin on Scott’s face. He should have gone a long long time ago in my opinion. His attitude STINKS!! And I’d also like to know why he was allowed to stay on the show while he has a criminal record, when others have been asked to leave immediately! I think Connie would have had at least another 2-3 weeks on the show. And what was up with Paula tonight??? She looked seriously drugged or something. WEIRD!

Thanks for stopping by! I’m only partially serious about the conspiracy, but I do think something is very fishy. I’ve heard claims that AI won’t publish the official vote tallies, but I don’t know that for a fact. There is just no good explanation why Scott and Anthony are left and Constantine is gone. Well, good for him. He’s better than any of them anyway and he seems smart enough to see that. A successful career is in his hands and I will support his efforts if he puts out a CD or show or something. I’m just mad because I thought this was a legitimate show. Oh well. At least I got to meet someone new…you! I enjoy Jason’s blog.
I’ve enjoyed reading about you too. Jason sends me your comments on the show every morning after you write. He claims to not care about the show, but I think he is a closet watcher…he’s been lingering in the living room a little longer each night with me to see what happens heheheh. We’ll get him to admit eventually. Oh yeah…last night while I was out of the room, I came back to Constantine as my desktop wall paper. He actually took the time to seek him out hehehe. Anyway enough of my rambling.

What conspiracy theory? I think you have serious problems to be crying about a tv show. As the old saying goes “get a life”. I ove the show and I agree that constantine should have been down to the final four. He certainly shouldn’t be there longer than the now final three.
I also understand that this is a “Phone In” show. There is obviously more down and out loser average joes that can identify with Scott than there are teenybopper girls that would vote for Constantine. In the end I doubt that Scott would have much of a career over Constantine. So let him have his little smirk and 10 seconds of fame. After all thats all he has.
